Patience
In the past few days, we’ve barely talked like how we usually do. I understand that it’s because we’re both busy, you’re sick, and I’m busy with school and work. I appreciate that you still make the effort to talk to me, regardless of our busy lives. Sometimes, I do feel lonely, and all I want to do is just talk to you and hear your voice, but alas, I can’t get what I want.
You need your rest, and you need to sleep. I’ll be here when you wake up, and when you feel better. I’ve developed the patience to not be dependent on talking to you all the time, and once we do finally have our conversations again, I know my patience has paid off.
